Continuing Education for Counselors
Continuing education for counselors – Affordable – User friendly format
Aspira is dedicated to providing top quality continuing education courses for Counselors. Licensed Counselor CE requirements may vary somewhat from state to state. Also, the number of continuing education hours allowed to be obtained from an online source varies from state to state. It is important to know your state board requirements and how many Counselor CEUs are allowed to be obtained from an online CE provider like Aspira.
Since this information is subject to change without notice, you can click here: State Board Website List for Counselors to access your state board’s website to view the latest information. Go to the “Continuing Education” section of your state board’s rules and regulations. This section will provide the details of the CE requirements mentioned above.
Aspira CE is NBCC Approved
Aspira is approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors. Thus, most states accept this approval in order for Aspira to provide CE courses for counselors licensed in their state. Accordingly, Aspira’s NBCC provider number will be printed on each certificate of completion for those states that accept this approval. Be sure to select “yes” to the question “Do you have a license?” when creating an account. The system needs both the licensing state and profession selected to know which approving body information to populate on your certificate(s).
