Aspira CE Provides quality online CE courses for CADC continuing education
Here are excerpts from the CCAPP website for your convenience:
Requirements for applying for the CADC-I Credential without a degree:
- 315 hours approved education
- 255 practicum hours (internship experience)
- 3,000 hours supervised work experience (includes all practicum hours)
- Passing score on the IC&RC ADC examination
- Renewal due every two years on DOB (continuing education required)
Required items for applying for the CADC-I Credential with an Associate’s Degree:
- Associate’s Degree in Behavioral Science or Allied Mental Health Profession (must include 315 hours approved education)
- 255 practicum hours
- 2,080 hours supervised work experience (includes 95 practicum hours)
- Passing Score on IC&RC ADC examination
- Renewal due every two years on DOB (continuing education required)

Requirements for applying for the Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor II Credential:
- 315 hours approved education
- 255 hour field practicum
- Passing score on the ICRC written exam
- 6,000 hours supervised work experience – (A degree in a behavioral health discipline, not used to meet the education requirements for certification, can be used for hours toward certification, for the CADC II only, as follows: AA degree = 2000 hours; BA degree = 4000 hours. Examples of behavioral science degrees are: Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Addiction Counseling. Sociology and other liberal arts degrees are not acceptable).

Aspira CE Approvals
Aspira Continuing Education is an approved CE Provider for CCAPP licensees. Thus, some of the online courses AspiraCE offers can be used toward necessary CE requirements others can be used toward Professional Development requirements.

If the course is indicated as approved for CCAPP professionals, then that course can be applied toward CE requirements. If not, then that course can be applied toward Professional Development requirements.
