State Board CE instructions

- 12 hours of CE each renewal period
- 2 contact hours of CE in mental health conditions common to veterans and their families
- 3 contact hours initially and then 1 contact hour, thereafter, annually of CE for drug diversion training, best-practice prescribing of controlled substances training and training on prescribing and administration of an opioid antagonist if they prescribe, administer or dispense controlled substances
- CE accepted if approved by another state board of nursing
- Aspira Continuing Education is a Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, and offers CA BRN-approved clock hours for events that meet CA BRN requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program. (Provider #CEP 15657)
