Are Aspira CE Courses Accepted/Approved?

Yes

State Board CE instructions

- 80 hours of CE (20 hours per year) every 4 years
- 48 hours must be related to the field of alcohol and other drug abuse treatment
- 28 hours must be behavioral health related
- Up to 4 hours may be allocated to topics such as technology or administrative types of training
- 2 hours of cultural competency
- 2 hours of ethics
- Minimum 40 hours must be through live (face-to-face) activities
- Maximum of 40 hours may be through distant learning activities
- For continuing education activities which have not been through the CE pre-approval process, the continuing education activities will be subject to the approval of the Division of PLACE at the time of renewal.
