- Learning activity option 1: Continuing Education (CE)
- 30 hours of CE courses every 2 years
- Must be obtained through a nationally accredited nursing school; a nurse credentialing agency that is accredited by AANPCB, ABSNC, ANCC, ICE, NCCA, or NCSBN; an organization recognized by the board; any new national certifying body recognized by the board; or, local and national nursing or other professional associations recognized by the board.
