State Board CE instructions

- 30 hours every 2 years (25 general hours)
- Practitioners initially licensed and renewing a license for the first time are exempt from completing continuing education
- 2 hours of Medical Error training: Must be taken from a Board approved Medical Errors provider. Approved courses are listed in CEBroker.
- 3 hours of Ethics and Boundaries or Telehealth: Either course can be taken in alternating biennial renewal periods.
- 3 hours Laws and Ethics: These hours are required every third biennium and are included in the 25 general hours.
- 2 hours of Domestic Violence: These hours are required every third biennium and are included in the 25 general hours.
- 4 hours in qualified supervision training for Supervisors. These hours are required every 3 biennium for Qualified Supervisors only and are included in the 25 general hours. (Not required for renewal until 3-31-2023).
- Aspira Continuing Education is a Florida Department of Health-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEPTM) and offers FDOH-approved clock hours for events that meet FDOH requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program. (Provider #50-10910).
