State Board CE instructions
- RNs must complete 30 contact hours during renewal period
- LPNs must complete 24 contact hours during renewal period
- Minimum 3 hours in the area of substance abuse
- All contact hours must be earned through an approved method or by an approved provider.
- "Approved Provider" means an entity that is one of the following: An organization approved as a provider by a Board of Nursing of another U.S. jurisdiction or territory and which is a member of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
- Aspira Continuing Education is a Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, and offers CA BRN-approved clock hours for events that meet CA BRN requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program. (Provider #CEP 15657)
